Vacancy: (Junior) Project Manager Shipbuilding

Who are we?

As project leader shipbuilding you know inland shipping like the back of your hand, you are a real team player and you feel responsible to realize projects within the set quality requirements, budget and planning. You coordinate the accurate delivery of ships in good cooperation with the client and our technical and procurement departments. To achieve this you are the spider in the web, coordinating all relevant matters with the client and ensuring flawless project execution. You chair construction meetings and take care of the preparation, execution and aftercare of work we outsource to our subcontractors and suppliers.

Duties and responsibilities.

• You are responsible for delivering new construction / completion and repair projects within schedule and set budget, based on specifications as agreed with the client
  
• Initiating and leading construction meetings
  
• Taking care of the preparation, execution and settlement of subcontracted work
  
• Providing timely information for invoicing purposes, including additional and less work
  
• Informing and consulting with the operations manager on project progress.

• Minimum MBO working and thinking level, preferably in the direction of Mechanical Engineering or Shipbuilding Engineering.
• Several years of experience in a similar position
• You are communicatively strong & stress resistant
• You are good at planning, organizing and keeping an overview
• You are fluent in Dutch and English, oral and written, German is an advantage.
