Vacancy: Project Engineer

Engineering and work preparation for new construction and repair projects. Establishment, development and control of design, construction and detail engineering for shipbuilding. Design, development and control of main and auxiliary systems. Carry out strength calculations. Checking and evaluating stability criteria. Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and surveyors. Managing a project independently (in consultation with the Chief Engineer). Point of contact in the absence of the CE. Maintain and develop technical knowledge and skills.

Education HBO Mechanical/Shipbuilding. Several years' experience in a similar position. Knowledge of 2D and 3D drafting systems. Knowledge of strength, leakage and stability calculations. Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations. You are cost conscious and customer focused. You will be goal oriented and able to deliver projects within set targets.
