Since 2016, Den Breejen Shipyard's quality policy has been certified by DNV / VCA* in accordance with ISO 9001.

Safety is important for everyone working at the locations of Den Breejen Shipyard. People must be able to rely on a safe working environment. Our aim is to reduce accidents, damages, and incidents to an absolute minimum. To ensure this objective, safety is a continuous point of attention within the company. The main occupational health and safety guidelines are outlined in the safety instructions. Since 2011, the occupational health and safety policy of Den Breejen Shipyard has been certified by DNV / VCA* in accordance with VCA**.

Den Breejen Shipyard takes its responsibility for the impact of production activities on the environment. It is important to meet the statutory environmental requirements as a minimum. Substances dangerous for the environment are stored and used in accordance with the PGS 15 guideline. Gas storage tanks meet all requirements. Waste is collected separately. This makes part suitable for reuse. To reduce energy consumption, an energy-saving study was carried out. Recently, the lighting at the new-build location has been replaced by energy-efficient LED lighting.
